Exciting news! The Call for Art is Live! You can find it here:
The City of Lowell, in partnership with the CASE Office and CMAA, invites artists to submit qualifications for a public art project funded by the NEFA Public Art for Spatial Justice program and the Lowell Cultural Council. Artists are asked to create a 4x8’ panel that represents the Khmer community’s past, present, and future in Lowell, highlighting their contributions and cultural evolution since arriving as refugees following the Cambodian genocide. Six panels will be commissioned. While priority will be given to Khmer artists, all artists are encouraged to apply. This project aims to tell a comprehensive and aspirational story of the Khmer experience in Lowell.
